BIT Semester 2 Recommended Books

BIT Semester 2 Recommended Books for Mathematics for Computing and Database Systems

Since I was a BIT student, I understood that BIT syllabus and exams mainly focused on recommended books they have mentioned in the syllabus. So if you want to score a highest gpa, you need to go through these books. To be a  successful BIT graduate, your target must be not only gpa but also a person who can use the theoretical knowledge that you gain throughout the degree to apply IT solutions for practical situations.

If you go through all these books, then you can achieve both practical knowledge and the gpa that required. So study hard and be a successful BIT graduate. Don't forget to share with your friends.

I decided to publish reference no 2 for Mathematics for Computing Module.

Those who are doing semester 5 and who have selected Internet Application Development as an optional unit have to learn about XML . This persuades me to write this post. I thought of sharing few ebooks , which are the best for learning XML.

Uploading pictures to VLE discussion forum

Almost all the people don't know how to upload a picture to a VLE discussion forum. Some people try to  do this using copy and paste. This doesn't work at all.

And some are using print screen button , save it in paint and then upload the picture which covers the whole screen and it seems that is also not successful.

The best answer for this kind of issue is to use screen capturing tools.

In windows 7 ,8 -> Snipping tool.

The path is Start > All programs > Accessories > Snipping Tool .All you have to do is to drag the pointer where you want to capture.

Unfortunately we don't have such a tool in windows XP. We have to get this tool downloaded and installed in XP.
So here is the link for XP users.

http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-screen-capture-utility.htm

For linux users , to be honest, you 're very lucky coz  ,you can do this more easily , all you have to do is to press the print screen button.  Then automatically linux saves the screenshot for you.

Moreover if you want to do more other than saving a screenshot you can use software like SHUTTER .
